As demand grows for professionals who can work across borders and alongside the newest tech, business schools are expanding their specialized master’s and executive education portfolios with new global formats and AI-focused credentials.

ESADE LAUNCHES GLOBAL MASTER’S WITH ASIA AND MIDDLE EAST IMMERSIONS
Esade Business School is introducing two new Global Master’s programs designed to prepare graduates for an increasingly complex global economy. The Global Master in Finance and the Global Master in International Management will feature integrated international study in Asia and the Middle East. The first cohort is set to begin in September 2026.
Both 15-month programs start in Barcelona with core and specialized coursework based on Esade’s existing MSc degrees. Students will also complete region-focused classes on doing business in Asia or the Middle East. The structure aims to combine strong analytical training with direct exposure to key growth markets.
A central component is a 10-week international experience. Students will complete academic modules at either the University of Hong Kong or the American University in Dubai, followed by a Global Challenge project with local companies. The hands-on work is designed to give participants practical insight into regional business dynamics and leadership styles.
After returning to Barcelona, students can tailor their path through MBA electives or a professional internship. Esade leaders say the new programs reflect rising demand for professionals who can operate across cultures and markets. The school expects the degrees to strengthen its global portfolio and attract graduates seeking international careers.

Rotman School of Management
ROTMAN TO LAUNCH AI-FOCUSED MASTER OF MANAGEMENT ANALYTICS
The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto is launching a new Master of Management Analytics – AI (MMA – AI) program for business professionals. The 15-month hybrid degree will begin in fall 2027 and targets working professionals with three to ten years of experience in analytics and data-driven roles.
The program builds on Rotman’s existing Master of Management Analytics curriculum while adding leadership and strategy courses tailored to the AI era. Students will study machine learning, deep learning, and predictive modeling alongside applications in marketing, finance, operations, and leadership. The goal is to help professionals translate technical capability into business impact.
Courses will run primarily online in the evenings twice per week. Students will also complete four in-person intensive modules during the program. The format allows participants to continue working while developing advanced analytics and AI skills.
School leaders say demand is rising for professionals who can connect AI tools with strategic decision making. Rotman expects the new degree to strengthen its analytics portfolio and prepare graduates to lead in increasingly data-rich organizations.
