BITSOM LAUNCHES WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR MID-CAREER PROFESSIONALS
BITSoM, the BITS School of Management in Mumbai established by BITS Pilani, has announced a new exec ed program tailored specifically for experienced women professionals. The Leadership Programme for Women Executives will begin in November and is designed to support women as they move from mid-level management into senior leadership roles.
The 11-month program includes 100 live, interactive sessions with lectures, case studies, role plays, and experiential learning. Participants will study key areas such as strategic leadership, negotiation, advanced communication, and design thinking, as well as emerging technologies like AI and machine learning. BITSoM faculty will teach alongside professors from other top Indian business schools and senior industry professionals.
The program combines individual coaching and mentorship with practical application. Participants will complete a personal capstone project guided by expert coaches. An Industry Advisory Council made up of prominent CEOs and business leaders will provide additional group mentoring and help shape the program content.
Format blends online learning with in-person experiences. Participants will attend two on-campus sessions in Mumbai and take part in a three-day outbound workshop focused on leadership development and peer learning. The total program cost is ₹4,00,000 INR (~$4,682) plus tax.
MIAMI HERBERT & IESE PARTNER ON EXEC ED AI LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The University of Miami Herbert Business School and IESE Business School in Spain have partnered to launch a new executive education program focused on AI leadership. The three-day, in-person program is designed for senior leaders looking to balance technology with human-centric leadership.

“Leadership in the Age of AI” is Oct. 14-16 on the University of Miami campus. Cost is $4,800, and participants earn joint certificates from both Miami Herbert and IESE upon completion.
The program features interactive workshops, case studies, and simulations that equip leaders with practical strategies for implementing AI. It is designed for senior executives, C-suite leaders, and strategic decision-makers to help manage AI-driven teams without requiring a technical background.
The in-person format allows senior execs to connect with leaders facing similar transformations in other industries while sharing best practices.
WOXSEN & PORTO BUSINESS SCHOOL LAUNCH DUAL DBA & PHD PROGRAM
Woxsen University in India and Porto Business School in Portugal have introduced a new dual-degree doctoral program in business administration. The program awards both a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and a PhD, combining academic research with real-world application.
The dual-degree structure aims to attract working professionals and executives seeking research careers in business. It will offer flexibility through hybrid learning formats while maintaining academic rigor. Students will engage in research projects relevant to their industry while building theoretical knowledge through coursework.
The program offers three specialized tracks: Digital, Artificial Intelligence and Data Innovation; Strategic Business Leadership; and Global Policy and Operations Management.
Graduates will receive one degree from each institution upon completion of the three-year, part time program. The curriculum emphasizes global perspectives, innovation, and responsible business practices.
The program will launch in January 2026.
CBS & WALL STREET PREP UNVEIL AI FOR BUSINESS & FINANCE CERTIFICATE
Columbia Business School Executive Education and Wall Street Prep have paired up to launch a new certificate program, AI for Business & Finance. The eight-week exec ed course is designed to equip professionals with hands-on skills in applying artificial intelligence to finance and business operations.
The next cohort begins July 14, with future sessions to be offered in November and March. The program is self-paced and asynchronous, but students can access live office hours from Columbia Business School Executive Education and Wall Street Prep faculty as well as and optional in-person networking. Cost is $5,000. Execs receive a certificate jointly issued by Columbia Business School Executive Education and Wall Street Prep upon completion. .
The course teaches how to use tools like Python and ChatGPT for real-world financial tasks, including forecasting, investment analysis, risk modeling, and automation. It also covers ethical concerns and limitations of AI in finance.
