ESCP Business School, headquartered in France, has joined a growing list of business schools and universities to partner to roll out ChatGPT Edu to enhance learning, teaching, research, curriculum development, and administrative processes.
ESCP announced its partnership with OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT, this week. The AI tool has been specifically enhanced for universities with enhanced security and admin controls as well as access to advanced AI tools. It is powered by OpenAI’s newest model, GPT-4o.
ChatGPT Edu was announced in May and is currently working with schools such as University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School, Columbia University, University of Oxford, Arizona State University, and University of Texas at Austin.
ESCP plans to give a select group of students access to the model’s enhanced tools beginning in October. Faculty will also deploy the tool to drive high-impact research, refine course content to keep the curriculum up-to-date. For example, ESCP recently launched its new online Artificial Intelligence Business Certificate with its first intake in January. It plans to use ChatGPT Edu to help develop more AI-focused programs.
“We are delighted to collaborate with OpenAI to revolutionize the ESCP learning experience, equipping learners with sustainable future skills, fostering ethical decision making, and ensuring secure data practices to better serve society. We look forward to empowering our students, faculty, and staff to innovate responsibly while strengthening the achievement and fulfillment of the institution’s mission,” says Léon Laulusa, Executive President and Dean of ESCP Business School.
