Suffolk’s 21-month Executive MBA Program blends Saturday-only classes with on-line and practical applications.. The Executive MBA Program is designed for mid-level executives and working professionals who aspire to greater responsibility with the competitive global environment. Students learn to collectively leverage their experiences to manage across organizations and borders.
Sessions are every Saturday along with four residential seminars held at off-site locations. The introductory Management Seminar focuses on ethics and social responsibility. The seminar highlight is a simulation that emphasizes interpersonal dynamics between people as they address issues that involve departmental interdependencies, power relationships, and judgment. A week-long Global Travel seminar leads students in a comprehensive examination of the economic, political and cultural perspectives of doing business in the global economy. During the seminar, you meet with industry leaders, local, national and multinational businesses; and complete a group project.
A five-day leadership and team building seminar is next. Created to develop and refine organizational leadership skills at multiple levels, the sessions will make you more conscious of your leadership abilities and gaps. Classroom activities and a physical challenge result in an intensive educational experience. A final five-day seminar in Washington, D.C. provides first-hand exposure to public and economic policy and its impact on business strategy development and execution. Students meet with key members of Congress, the Administration, influential lobbyists, the media, and other organizations that influence policy development.
