BOOTH’S NEW CERTIFICATE IN GLOBAL FINANCE

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is creating a new certificate program in Global Advanced Finance. The certificate is targeted at corporate finance executives, senior investment professionals, and strategic decision-makers.

The six-session, two-year program will offer electives at Booth campuses in at campuses in Chicago, London, and Hong Kong. Participants will master advanced finance skills through The Chicago Approach, Booth’s signature method of applying scientifically based theoretical frameworks to help student define problems, ask better questions, and develop better business solutions.

“As one of the world’s top academic business schools, Chicago Booth has a long tradition of influencing and educating global leaders who shape the future of business,” says Madhav Rajan, dean of Chicago Booth and George Pratt Shultz Professor of Accounting. “We are proud to offer this advanced global program, which allows participants to study in three of the most prominent financial hubs and learn from Booth’s world-class faculty.”

Participates will earn Chicago Booth alumni status upon completion. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

TRINITY BUSINESS SCHOOL LAUNCHES MSc RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS & SUSTAINABILITY

Trinity Business School in Dublin will launch a new MSc Responsible Business & Sustainability program this fall. Applications for the first cohort will close July 31, 2024.

The one-year, full-time program combines business ethics, sustainability, as well as management and organizational science. Participants will be prepared for leadership positions with responsibilities across corporate sustainability, ESG, business and human rights, and more.

“The MSc in Responsible Business and Sustainability is the ultimate expression of Trinity Business School’s ‘Transforming Business for Good’ strategy. Through its research-driven and impact-oriented approach, this programme aims to enable future business leaders to drive forward responsible and sustainable business practices,” says Maximilian Schormair, program director.

SCHOLARSHIPS AT ESMT BERLIN EMPOWER FEMALE EXECUTIVES

ESMT Berlin offers several full and partial scholarships to promote women in C-level and advanced management positions. Ten executive education scholarships will be awarded for the three flagship programs: Bringing Technology to Market, Executive Transition Program, and the General Management Seminar.

General Management Seminar (GMS) targets women who have proven leadership qualifications and come from private and public companies or non-profit institutions. Two full scholarships (€20,500 each) and two partial scholarships (€10,250 each) will be awarded. Application deadline is March 17, 2024.

Bringing Technology to Market (BTM) is geared toward women who manage a business unit or regional subsidiary, are responsible for a new product, market, or service, and are employed by a large global or regional corporation. Two partial scholarships (€7,300 each) will be awarded. Application deadline is March 31, 2024.

Executive Transition Program (ETP) is suitable for women who are about to assume, or have recently assumed, a senior executive position and who are entrepreneurial and responsible for results. Two full scholarships (€28,600 each) and two partial scholarships (€14,300 each) will be awarded. Application deadline is August 18, 2024.
