IESE’s Executive MBA is a bilingual program taught in Spanish and English. The program includes two intensive weeks in China and New York City.

The first year is the basis of the program. It is designed to enable students to acquire the tools and skills necessary in each area of the company, while always bearing in mind how each of these areas is interrelated.

The second year of the program is designed to help students continue analyzing the problems experienced by companies and how these problems are interrelated. At the same time, further insight is given into the functions of top company management. Special emphasis is placed on general management, strategy and entrepreneurship.

The program is taught in a weekly format (on the Barcelona and Madrid campuses) and a bi-weekly format (in Madrid and São Paulo).

Classes in the weekly Executive MBA program are held on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. The program also includes five intensive weeks, one of which will be held at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

Classes in the bi-weekly format are held every two weeks: all day on Fridays and Saturday mornings. The program also includes seven intensive weeks, one of which is held abroad in the case of the Madrid EMBA. The Brazil EMBA includes a week in New York City and a week in Barcelona.
