Meant for working professionals with at least seven years of experience who want to expand their leadership and business skills, this program’s classes are delivered once every two to three weeks. As a 19-month program, it combines small peer cohorts with experienced faculty. The program prides itself on teaching students how to tackle evolving challenges and business needs of executive leaders. Plus, an executive coach and mentor are assigned to each cohort to provide extra support as they move through the rigorous curriculum in three locations: West Los Angeles, Irvine, and Malibu.

There are five terms in the curriculum: Leading People in Changing Organizations, Managerial Control and Financial Management, Global Economics and Information Systems, Business and Management Practices in Global Settings and Strategic Marketing, and Strategic Management in Competitive Global Environments. The first term focuses on the human side of management, teaching participants skills that enhance their capacity to lead people and manage human problems in complex environments. The second term educates students on how to make management decisions using financial and quantitative data.

Then, in the third term, the content focuses on exploring how the market and economy factors into the strategic planning process. The fourth term shifts to helping students integrate what they’ve learned so far and apply their new skills, and the fifth term completes with students learning strategic management of complex problems.

To gain admission into the program, an interview is. Intake happens in fall, spring and summer terms. View more application details here.
