Forbes is partnering with Sagardoy Business & Law School in Madrid, Spain, to create the Forbes Sagardoy Business School, launching this month.

The business school will offer executive training programs to equip business leaders to address the evolving business challenges. The global influence of Forbes, coupled with the practical and academic expertise of Sagardoy Business & Law School, creates a unique learning environment for seasoned and emerging executives.

Courses will be available in both in-person and virtual formats. Examples include Leadership Essentials, Customer Experience in Luxury Excellence, The Power of Diversity, and AI: Transforming Businesses and Industries.

The Forbes Sagardoy Business School will also design tailor-made programs for companies facing specific challenges and goals.

IESE & COCA-COLA LAUNCH NEW MBA & MIM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN AFRICA

IESE Business School

IESE Business School in Spain is partnering with the Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company for a MBA and MiM scholarship program designed to promote management talent in Africa.

The scholarship will partially cover tuition of two IESE MBA students and two IESE MiM students per year. Recipients will complete in-house internships during their studies and then begin a rotational work program at the company’s Morocco headquarters or in one of its 13 African subsidiaries.

The program continues the work of IESE´s Africa Initiative which is committed to sustainable business leadership development on the African continent. For more than 20 years, IESE has been contributing to business development and executive training in Africa, with dozens of programs and modules, training courses for professors, exchange events and activities, institutional agreements and academic research. Among other milestones, this includes contributing to the creation of three business schools on the continent: Lagos Business School in Nigeria, Strathmore Business School in Kenya, and MDE Business School in Cote d’Ivoire.

FRANKFURT SCHOOL APPOINTS CHRISTIAN LANDAU AS VICE PRESIDENT DEGREE PROGRAMS

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management has appointed Christian Landau as the new Vice President Degree Programmes and Professor of Strategy and Innovation. Landau will join the school in April and will serve as a member of the Executive Board and will be responsible for the management and development of the Bachelor, Master, MBA, and PhD programs.

 

Landau previously served as Vice Dean Education and Dean of EBS Business School in Oestrich-Winkel. He is co-founder and director of the European Strategy Institute (ESI), is an expert in strategy and innovation, and his research is regularly published in leading academic journals.

ESMT’S DEEP INSTITUTE PARTNERS WITH SPRIND FOR BIOMANUFACTURING INNOVATION

ESMT Berlin’s DEEP institute for Deep Tech Innovation has partnered SPRIND, the German Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation, to advance innovation in circular biomanufacturing. This collaboration launches an exclusive coaching and mentoring program using the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) methodology.

The partnership will deliver a specialized mentoring program for eight SPRIND Challenge teams throughout a three-year innovation competition to develop comprehensive prototypes and commercialize breakthrough technologies in circular biomanufacturing, a field critical to sustainable development and innovation.

“The mentors, all successful entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate decision-makers, with long-standing experience in circular biomanufacturing, ensure a focused approach to tackle the teams’ specific challenges. The primary goal is to place each team on a path to success by helping them set the right individual priorities,” says Thorsten Lambertus, managing director of DEEP at ESMT.

 

UCL GLOBAL BUSINESS SCHOOL FOR HEALTH APPOINTS FORMER AUSTRALIAN HEALTH MINISTER

Greg Hunt

UCL’s Global Business School for Health has appointed former Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt as an honorary professor. Hunt is a former Australian Cabinet Minister and served as Minister for Health from 2017 to 2022, overseeing Australia’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Hunt was also Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science from 2016 to 2017, was a Fulbright Scholar to Yale University, and was a consultant at McKinsey & Co.

In his new role, Professor Hunt will focus on policy and practice to support medical innovation, comparative global health systems, strategic planning, and leadership development.

UCL recently launched an inaugural undergraduate degree in Business and Health, one of the first of its kind.
