Typically, the airfare for a global immersion week is separate as well. At New York University’s Stern School of Business, the $177,800 includes everything except travel costs to and from the two Global Study Tours. The $179,000 charged by the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business for its EMBA includes all books and course materials, some meals, and hotel accommodations for three residential weeks in Chicago, one residential week in London and one residential week in Hong Kong. But students have to spring for the airfare to and from Chicago, London and Hong Kong.

Though the costs of these programs at prestige schools are high, there are clearly some under-$100,000 programs in the mix. The Poets&Quants’ analysis found that the University of Cambridge Judge Business School boasts a 20-month EMBA program delivered over 16 weekends and four week-long sessions for $93,816. Graduates can return to Cambridge to take one elective a year for free alongside current EMBA students. Unlike most U.S. programs, however, students have to pay out of pocket for accommodations during the weekend sessions. They also obviously have to pick up the costs for airfare for an international business study trip. Judge estimates that students should budget $10,300 to cover those additional costs.
