Marina Kundu

Marina Kundu

For the first time in its history, HEC Paris has appointed a woman as associate dean of its executive education programs

Marina Kundu, who joined HEC Paris as director of its degree and certificate programs at HEC Executive Education, succeeds Bertrand Moingeon who was in charge of the school’s exec ed offerings for 16 years. Kundu was elected to her new job by faculty vote.

Marina Kundu is half Italian, half Indian. She gained a Master of Arts in French language and literature from Yale University in 1990, and after teaching at the University of Chatham in Pittsburgh, Kundu became dean of undergraduate studies, director of the Master of Public Affairs, and deputy director of International Affairs at Sciences Po. In September 2008 she joined HEC as Director of the full portfolio of Degree and Certificate Programs at HEC Executive Education.

“At HEC Executive Education, our challenge over the next few years will be to develop our portfolio of programs in different regions around the world,” said Kundu in a statement. “By giving our participants – a richly diverse group of senior managers, entrepreneurs, and business executives – the courage, skills, and knowledge they need to change and to effect change, our hope is to help shape the future of business and society in a positive and sustainable way.”

Ranked #1 worldwide by the Financial Times in 2013, HEC Paris Executive Education offers individuals and companies the opportunity to learn and develop through a wide range of degree, certificate, open-enrolment, and custom programs.
