UNC Offering EMBA Women Scholarships

The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School announced today (Aug. 24) that it has created a new fellowship program for outstanding women applicants to its MBA for Executives Programs.

UNC Kenan-Flagler said it will award the new MBA for Executives Forté Fellowship to women who “demonstrate exemplary leadership and achievement.” The fellowship is offered in collaboration with the Forté Foundation, an organization of top business schools and corporations whose mission is to increase the number of women in business.

The Forté Fellowship Program will provide tuition and other support – such as leadership development and networking opportunities – for outstanding women. All female students will be automatically considered for the fellowship; no separate application is required. The next EMBA application deadline is Sept. 29 for the Weekend MBA class that will begin January 2012.
